Did you know Santa Clarita and the area surrounding it is one of the most frequently used locations for shooting movies, commercials, and television shows. The use of the area dates back to the 1910's, when it was used primarily although not exclusively for filming Westerns; and although the use of the area for shooting westerns continued, other genres also began taking advantage of the area.
